As a result of the new 2010-2015 Collective Agreement, there are some gains made in the area of parental rights that you should know about. Luckily, QPAT has produced an informative reference booklet entitled My Parental Rights and the Quebec Insurance Plan (QPIP) for its members.
Recently, the QPAT-APEQ website has undergone a major overhaul and is looking good! The new website is more appealing to view and is easier to navigate.
The new website has not received a lot of fanfare to date since the contents are being proofread for accuracy. Nevertheless, if you want to have a peak, I encourage you to browse the rich resources available online and to bookmark this site in your favourites if you already haven’t done so.
Well done QPAT-APEQ!
This afternoon, the 2010-2015 Collective Agreement was signed. This achievement was made possible by QPAT’s negotiation team and you, the teachers who supported them during the process.
QPAT will be sending information to teachers soon regarding changes to salary and parental leaves.
Please note that there will not be any print copies of the new Collective Agreement. The new text will be posted on the CPNCA website tomorrow.
